| The Calendar can be viewed in various ways by clicking the buttons on the right above the calendar (and the 'view' text links on the left below the calendar). These have the following effects: |
| View Year: This will open a separate window displaying the current year. Any date highlighted in grey will display a summary of the event(s) when the mouse is held over it. You can select another year by clicking the arrows at the bottom of the page. |
| View Month: This displays one month at a time with one week to a line. An entry in a date box displays a title of the event(s) and the time it starts. Clicking the title in the date box will open a summary window with more information about the event. |
| View Week: (this is also available by clicking the 'Week' button in the first date box for each week) This displays one week at a time with each day on a seperate line. In this case the title and summary is available for each event. |
| Catagories: This will display a list of event catagories and the number of items in each catagory for each month. Clicking on the highlighted month will display a list of events in that month. Clicking on the Event Title will open a new window with the event summary displayed. By clicking on the 'Event: Catagory' text link a popup window will appear which will allow you to select a single catagory to view. Only this catagory will be displayed - to view another catagory or to view 'All Catagories' click on the 'Event: Catagory' text link to change. |
| Search: (on the right below the Calendar) Enter any text relevant to the event you want to find and click the search button. Some information is displayed below the Event Title but clicking on the 'Read more' link will open a new window with the event summary displayed. |
| Add Diary Event: If you want to add a public event to the diary please close this window and go to the 'Diary' or 'Quick Diary' page and click on the 'Add Diary Event' link |
